Synopsis:
György Mosonyi, General Manager of Mol Rt. and President of the Joint Venture Association: "It's not the date of the introduction of the single currency that really counts. In principle, the earlier the better for the Hungarian economy, but realities have to be taken care of. As it is at present, pursuing the aim attached to 2008 would not make much sense, and would jeopardise the overall interests of the economy and society. Preference is due to a solid cohesion and improvement of competitiveness, infrastructure, motorways, etc. Attention must be paid to sustainable stability of the forint and the prevention of speculation"
