Opinion about the exchange rate of the forint

Synopsis : He criticises the hectic changes of the Forint course. Due to the heavy share of exports in his firm, the strong Forint has a catastrophic impact. Grain and corn is hardly to sell in international markets at current prices. To his knowledge, the situation forces several firms in the branch to drastic restrictions. The JVA Presidium member believes, that a 2-2,5 percentage point reduction of the MNB prime rate would be timely in the next months.
