Time: 08:30 - 15:00

Introduction
Jointly organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (AmCham), the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK) and the Joint Venture Association (JVSZ), the third bi-annual Political and Corporate Leaders' Forum invites leaders and experts from the five parliamentary parties and the business community in Hungary to mutually present their views and foster a constructive dialogue on four key topics crucial to Hungary's national competitiveness.
Through the forum, the extensive business community represented by the organizers aims to:
1. Understand the political and economic vision of the political parties;
2. Influence new policies with arguments and facts in order to improve Hungary's national competitiveness.
During the forum, leaders of each of the five parliamentary parties - Ibolya Dávid (MDF), Gábor Fodor (SZDSZ), Ferenc Gyurcsány (MSZP), Viktor Orbán (FIDESZ-MPSZ) and Zsolt Semlyén (KDNP) - are invited to express their parties' respective visions for Hungary in the coming years.
As with the last Political and Corporate Leaders' Forum, the four specific topics to be addressed are i) public sector reform ii) taxation iii) labor force / education and iv) transparency. Each topic will be addressed in separate panel discussions. Each topic will be addressed by a representative from the business community, followed by representatives of each of the five parliamentary parties. Finally, the audience will be invited to pose questions, providing a unique opportunity to conduct a direct dialogue on the future course of the Hungarian economy with the decision makers of the most important political parties.
The period selected, 2008-2013, reflects the organizer's opinion that political periods should not distract from the need to think about the mid/long term future of the country.
The Forum will be followed by a buffet lunch.
The official language of the forum is Hungarian, with simultaneous translation into both English and German.
