QUESTIONS - ANSWERS

June 11. 2004.

18th May is marked by the first forwarding of authenticated digital invoices to private persons in Hungary – we were told by Tibor Lengyel, Chairman-CEO of Euroexpert Holding Rt., the creator of the system. The addressee of the eInvoice receives a message to his mobile phone about the arrival of the invoice. The recipient may download the invoice – and also archived ones – in a specific document from the Internet. The invoice is equivalent to the printed version and replaces it. It may also be settled automatically in the electronic process. To be sure about the authenticity of the signature of the issuer, this must be certified by an authorised qualifying agent – in this particular case by MÁV Informatikai Rt., which also provides the date-stamp, while Kopint-Datorg Rt. makes available the registered software to Euroexpert Holding Rt. for the usage of the signature and the date-stamp. The electronic invoices are free of charge to the private addressee, expenses are covered by the sender. The homepage for archiving the invoices and for reviewing past invoicing, will soon be operative.
