Recently several of our members celebrated their anniversary of foundation (ten, fifteen years). We hereunder present them briefly:
ITAG-ÖKOLEX Gazdasági Tanácsadó (economic consulting) Rt.
Last week ITAG-ÖKOLEX Gazdasági Tanácsadó Rt. celebrated its 15th anniversary in Győr. The firm provides complex consulting throughout the economic conduct. Its partners are experienced generalists, who take a share in company establishment, conversions, implementations and development, consult and evaluate enterprises, provide active tax-, accounting- and financial advice, assist in investment financing, in designing and operating of information systems. Our sincere congratulations to the Company Group!
MEHIB and EXIMBANK
The Magyar Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) Rt. and the Magyar Exporthitel Biztosító /export credit insurance/ (Mehib) Rt. celebrated their 10th anniversary. The equity of Eximbank increased from 1,3 bn Ft at foundation to 12 bn at present, the balance-sheet total from 5,2 bn Ft to 165 bn. Eximbank has during its existence raised its financing activity at a rate acceding the growth of exports, hence the share of exports financed and warranted by them grew continuously in relation to the total of Hungarian exports, as well as exports to non-industrialised countries and the customs-free areas.
During the last 10 years, Mehib gradually intensified its business activity. The revenue from insurance premiums grew to its sixfold. The export-backing index, which shows the insurance company's significance regarding export increase, climbed from 0,47% of Hungarian exports to developing countries to 5,14% between 1995 and 2003. The revenue from backing increased from 6,6 bn Ft. in 1995 to 180 bn in 2003 (with nearly 6000 customer risk assessments).

RONDO Hullámkartongyártó (corrugated cardboard) Kft.
Rondo Hullámkarton Kft., the Austrian-based manufacturer of corrugated cardboard has also celebrated its 10th anniversary. The Group runs factories in Austria, Hungary and Romania. The central plant of Frastanz/Vorarlberg produces cardboard exclusively of waste paper. Part of the production is processed in its own factories, the rest is sold to customers in Austria, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. The Group's four cardboard factories manufacture top quality packaging material using state-of-the-art technology.
Their products may all be recycled and up to 70% made of waste paper. Being an ecologically oriented enterprise, they themselves collect paper waste, and in their specialised plant in Tirol, 40.000 tons of paper waste are collected and sorted annually.
